Aesthetic-Usability Effect

Figure 7.1 shows a gamer's keyboard

     Aesthetic-usability effect is whereby people perceived aesthetic designs as being easier to use, or has higher usability than compared with designs which are less attractive.
     In our example, the gamer’s keyboard in Figure 7.1 is perceived as better than the normal keyboard. This is due to the red coloured keys of the keyboard, which are the W, A, S, D keys that are commonly used for controlling movement in computer games. Gamers might see this keyboard as better and help them win better, whereas in reality the function of the keyboard is just the same as the standard keyboard.
