Chunking

Figure 5.1 shows the pizza hut Big Pantastic Box.
     Chunking is the combination of many units of items or information together so that the information is easily processed and remembered.
     The image shows Pizza Hut making use of the concept on chunking for the design of their delivery box seen in Figure 5.1. We can see food of different variety being grouped into their own kinds in the box, instead of different food being scattered around the box. The food is being chunked into groups of four according to the type of food to make it looks neater and more appetizing compared to when the food is randomly placed in the box. It brings a good impression on the customer and makes it easier to remember how many types of food is included in the box next time they want to have it delivered.
