Archetypes

Figure 7.2.1 shows a box of Ferero Rocher chocolate

   Archetypes is a universal symbol that usually represents patterns of human nature. Examples of archetypes are heroes, lover, villian and caregiver.

   In our example, Ferrero Rocher (Figure 7.2.1) brand its products with the lover archetype, often using romance and sophistication in their advertisement, such as in the advertisement from Figure 7.2.2
