Cost Benefit

Figure 6.2 shows an advertisement in an ATM
     The ATM machine in Figure 6.2 shows advertisements of the respective bank when it is idle. It is Cost Benefit to the respective bank. The bank gets to self-promote its features which they are selling through their ATM machine; this saves a lot of cost compared to other kinds of advertising methods (TV advertisement) and it benefits the bank whenever people who are lining up for the nearby machines saw it. In short, the benefit is higher than the cost for the bank.
     It also benefits the user because they can read the ads while lining up for the machines nearby instead of just waiting and doing nothing.
