A design which incorporates the principle of progressive disclosure involves seperating information into multiple level.
The book-borrowing machine in CAIS is a good example of progressive disclosure as it guides the user step by step in the book borrowing procedure, from asking the user to select the desired language to keying in the PIN number (seen in Figure 6.4.1, Figure 6.4.2 and Figure 6.4.3) Hence, it leads the users through a complex procedure by disclosing one information at a time. This also helps to keep the display clean and orderly, enabling the user to use the machine easily.
