Serial Position Effect

Figure 5.4 shows the football livescore table and the enlarge version on the right
      Serial Position Effect refers to items which are placed in the beginning and at the end of the list are often remembered better than items in listed in the middle
     This football livescore as seen in Figure 5.4 uses Serial Positions Effects in its design. The primacy effect (things at the beginning of a list) is on the first 3 teams as they are the top 3 in the game, and the recency effect (things at the end of a list)  is on the last 3 teams as they are going to be eliminated from the game. This design is structured to help the viewer to remember the important teams on the list.
